Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

We're back in action!

So for our TF2 followers looking forward to the next part of 'Be efficient Be Polite' finally we have some news for you! We have the entire thing planned out, it's going to be longer and hopefully just as good and exciting as the first part!

Now there's also going to be some changes, the second part will now be hosted on

's account! We'll still be updating on mondays but the amount of pages we put out might not be as generous as the first part. We have college to deal with now but we hope to work on the comic as much as we can and at least put up one page per week.
We'll try our best to work on the comic because we're both very excited to start on it and get it going!

So we'll be updating this monday, so go ahead and watch

today my computer crashed, i realized i had more homework than i expected, i spent all day on a plane back from vegas and i didn't get any sleep. I came on, saw this, and my day just got a ton better. Now i have something to look forward to tomorrow! Thank you!
